Public call – education for mentors/work assistants

As part of the project “Development and support for the development of sustainable employment models for vulnerable groups in the urban area of ​​Pula”, training for mentors/work assistants is organized.

The goal of the training is to introduce future work assistants (mentors) to how to help, assist and be with the person of the vulnerable group who is being employed. You will be introduced to the role of work assistant and gain the necessary knowledge and skills to do the job. You will gain all this through interactive workshops, lectures and group work under expert guidance.

The training will be led by expert Danijela Kasumović Maružin, a graduate defectologist and owner of the social enterprise Punkt, which mostly employs people with disabilities.

Participants will receive a Handbook for work assistants, work and other necessary materials for the successful acquisition of knowledge and skills.

The training will take place in Pula in the following terms:

  • Monday, July 4 from 4 pm to 7 pm – USIŽ, Zadarska 40
  • Wednesday, July 6 from 4 pm to 7 pm – DMSIŽ, Keršovanijeva 35
  • Thursday, July 7 from 3 pm to 6 pm – UGNIŽ, Anticova 5A

Participants should be from the area of ​​Southern Istria (the City of Pula, City of Vodnjan, Municipality of Barban, Municipality of Fažana, Municipality of Ližnjan, Municipality of Marčana, Municipality of Medulin, Municipality of Svetvinčenat)

Participants who meet some of the following criteria have priority in the selection for training:

  • you are under 24 years old
  • older than 54 years
  • you are unemployed and looking for work
