Employment of vulnerable groups

In the period from 1 January to 30 September 2021, a total of 123,062 people were employed through the Croatian Employment Service. Of this number, 2,216 persons are persons with disabilities (a share of 1.8), which is 19.9% more than in the same period last year. Out of the total number of employed persons with disabilities, 2,143 persons with disabilities are employed on the basis of employment, and 73 persons on the basis of other business activities (company registration, trade, employment contract, etc.). Considering the activity of employment, most persons with disabilities are employed in Manufacturing (319 persons or 14.9%), Accommodation and food service activities (297 persons or 13.8%) and in Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (275 persons or 12.8%).
